Megan Young and Mikael Daez visit Baguio City

Traveling has always been a big part in Megan Young and Mikael Daez's lives.

The Kapuso couple recently went on a trip to Baguio City for a quick getaway in the new normal.

Fortunately, the City of Pines wasn't packed with tourists the way it usually is during the holiday season, according to Mikael.

The actor wrote on Instagram, "It felt like we had Baguio City all to ourselves for 48 [hours]."

He continued by writing, "The usual spots that would normally be full of people around this time were empty."

Mikael mentioned he and Megan, whom he fondly calls Boneezy, enjoyed the cool weather and tranquility of the place during their two days in the city.

"Boneezy and I enjoyed just hanging out in these areas. Not doing much, just enjoying the weather and stillness of the place.

"It also reminded me how beautiful our country is ️[heart emoji]. Can't wait for our next adventure."

The two lovebirds took sweet photos in a romantic, rustic spot in an empty area within Baguio City.

Similarly, Megan also shared a photo from their trip and mentioned how Mikael, or Fofo as she calls him, is the sweeter one between the two of them.

She wrote in the caption of their photo, "Si Fofo talaga ang mas malambing sa aming dalawa. Ice queen ako dati eh Buti nalang natutunan kong maging malambing dahil sa kaniya.

Megan and Mikael also visited Boracay recently and shared their experience visiting the island in the new normal through a vlog.

Despite being used to jet-setting from one place to the next, the couple admitted flying to Boracay wasn't easy especially with the procedure needed to ensure safety protocols, such as getting a PCR test.

Nonetheless, they made it to Boracay and featured their favorite beach which they've been frequently visiting for years.

Megan and Mikael tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Subic back in January 2020.

The couple previously kept their engagement low-profile and private.

They first admitted their relationship in February 2017, when they shared that they have been dating since 2011.

Megan and Mikael currently host their own dating and relationship podcast called #BeyondRelationshipGoals, which they also publish on their YouTube channel called Megan & Mikael Podcast.

In this podcast, the couple share lessons from their relationship and married life as well as career advice and choices.
