Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos said US trip was a 'different experience'

Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos just came back from their almost month-long vacation in California.

Aside from the new memories and experiences, the Kapuso couple's trip to the U.S. is one for the books because it was their first long trip together and it was also Gabbi's first long vacation without her parents.

“It was very memorable for me… it's a different experience when you're with your partner,” Gabbi shared in an interview with GMA Lifestyle during the launch of Meat Up with Gabbi and Khalil.

The Kapuso It Girl added, “It was just the two of us so imagine, ang saya kasi, 'pag nagkakaron ng problem kaming dalawa lang 'din nagsosolve kasi siyempre nagkakaron naman ng ganon pagka may long trip ka 'di ba?”

Khalil also said that it was an amazing experience as they got to see what California had to offer.

“We went to some touristy spots but most of the time, we were in places that we haven't been to… we got to really see what California is all about and its culture,” he added.

Gabbi and Khalil went around California during their trip, including Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.

But among the many places they went to, they both agreed that their favorite had to be Joshua Tree.

“Sobrang ganda… parang nakapag-reconnect kami with ourselves and with each other. Iba 'yung naibibigay talaga ng nature trip sa'yo,” Gabbi said.

A few weeks ago, Gabbi posted an Instagram reel showing their Joshua Tree experience.

“[T]his place will forever have a special spot in my heart,” she wrote in her caption.
