Maine is truly making the most out of her European trip!
Maine Mendoza is currently on vacation in Europe with her fiancé, Arjo Atayde. And one destination in their itinerary is the historic Chanel 31 Rue Cambon store in Paris.
The Eat Bulaga host shared on Instagram photos of her visit to the iconic shop, while sporting a classic black Chanel backpack.
Maine couldn't hide her kilig for the place as she posted a photo of the facade on her Instagram Story.
“I can't believe I am finally at 31 Rue Cambon… Coco's apartment sits atop of this boutique!!!!!” she wrote in her story. She also noted that it's her first time in Paris.
The history of Chanel in 31 Rue Cambon dates back to 1910. According to Chanel's website, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel opened her hat shop, Chanel Modes, at Number 21 Rue Cambon in 1910.
She expanded after quickly gaining traction and acquired the whole building at Number 31 in 1918 and introduced the concept of the modern boutique.
The first floor houses the Chanel boutique, while the stairway leads to Coco's apartment on the second floor. Maine had her photo taken at the same staircase.
