Ahtisa Manalo gets warm welcome at her two homecoming parades

Last Tuesday, December 2, was a busy day for beauty pageant aficionados and fans of Ahtisa Manalo as the current reigning Miss Universe Philippines took part in two homecoming parades in two different cities.
At 1 p.m., Athisa started her first parade at the Manila City Hall, passing through Taft Avenue, United Nations Ave, Pedro Gil, Quirino Ave, and Vito Cruz. By 3:30 p.m., it was time for her second parade in Pasay City, circling the Mall of Asia complex.
Ahtisa's homecoming parade was first announced at the start of the month, with no time and venue shared initially. In the Instagram post, the Miss Universe Philippines organization described Ahtisa's Miss Universe journey as one where she “carried the hope and pride of every Filipino across the Universe” with “grace, beauty, and unwavering heart.”
These two parades are just the latest milestone for Ahtisa, who recently reached the 1 million follower mark on her Instagram account, with the Miss Universe Philippines organization announcing it on their Instagram account.
In the caption to the post, the organization wrote that the milestone “is a testament to her impact, her grace, and the love she inspires in every Filipino.”
Ahtisa placed third runner-up in the 2025 Miss Universe pageant after her response to the question “If you win the title of Miss Universe tonight, how would you use this platform to empower young girls?"
Ahtisa's response was “I work with an organization called Alon Akademie, where we work with young people to provide them opportunities to make them realize that it doesn't matter what your life circumstances is, it doesn't. I want to continue working with Alon Akademie and a bigger platform like Miss Universe to pursue making sure that people who come from low-income backgrounds are given the same opportunities as everyone else. Thank you."
