Alden Richards inks partnership deal with Viva Inc.

Timeout muna sa pagiging aktor si Alden Richards at isa muna siyang businessman nang humarap sa mga boss ng Viva Group of Companies nitong Huwebes, March 28.
Bilang may-ari ng Myriad Entertainment, pumirma ng partnership deal si Alden sa Viva Inc. executives na sina Vic del Rosario at anak niyang si Vincent del Rosario.
Ayon kay Richards, nagsimula ito two years ago nang kunin siya bilang actor, director, at co-producer ng ipalalabas pa lamang na pelikulang Out of Order.
Sa bagong kontratang kanyang pinirmahan, hindi na lamang para sa entertainment ang magiging business ni Alden sa kilalang production company sa bansa.
“I was so ecstatic and excited to learn about how Boss Vic is excited to partner with my company, not only in the entertainment industry but also in the food industry as well,” sabi ng aktor, na nagmamay-ari ng Filipino restaurant na Concha's.
Ayon naman kay Vincent, president at COO ng Viva Communications, “In behalf of Viva, excited kami sa different collaboration with Alden. I think, na-mention naman ni Alden that our partnership goes beyond the entertainment business. Although a lot of it is ground on the entertainment, excited kami sa projects pagdating sa food, you know, isa sa mga inaalagaang business lines ng Viva.”
Isa sa mga kumpanya sa ilalim ng Viva Inc. ang Viva Foods International, na kilala sa pagdadala ng foreign restaurants dito sa bansa. Kung sakali, ang Concha's ang kauna-unahang Filipino restaurant na sasailalim dito.
Ani Richards tungkol sa partnership niya sa Viva, “Parang everything just fell into place with the trust and confidence of my bosses right here. Napu-fuel po yung creativity ko and my passion for the industry as well as on the business aspect.”
Dagdag pa niya tungkol sa mga boss ng naturang kumpanya, “I consider them as my business mentors right now.
“Very collaborative sila. With the likes of young businessmen like me, it's very empowering. Sinasabi ko nga 'yan kina Boss Vic and Boss Vincent whenever I get to meet them, I text them na nagpapsalamat ako for the opportunity. Alam mo yun, parang naba-validate yung ideas ko.
“With everything that has been brought to the table lately, I consider this as exciting times ahead. I look forward to a long partnership. I'm at the point of my life na I don't just make connections but I make relationships.
“I think that's one of the things that I would like the viewers and my co-actors in the industry will learn from this partnership--hindi 'yan sa edad, hindi 'yan sa tagal sa industriya. Your traits, your values in life, and the relationships you've built with people.”
Samantala, nagpahayag naman ng paghanga ang mag-amang sina Vic at Vincent dahil sa mga kaalaman ni Alden sa business bukod sa pagiging aktor.
Ani Vincent, “Now that Alden talked about iba't ibang opportunities na magsama kami, na-realize namin na Alden is beyong being ang actor. Ang lalim ng kanyang understanding sa negosyo, very practical siya mag-isip.
“Kami man ay natututo sa kanya pagdating sa pagpo-produce ng pelikula at pagtatayo pa ng ibang mga negosyo. We're hoping na maging mahaba ang pagsasamang ito. Again, salamat sa opportunity for allowing us to partner with Myriad.”
Para naman sa founder ng Viva, na kilala sa industriya bilang si Boss Vic, “Malawak ang aming samahan. Hindi lang business. We trust him. He has the vision. Yung vision niya at saka vision namin halos pareho.”
Biro pa niya, “At saka masarap kang ka-partner, hindi matanong. Basta napag-usapan, sarado na.”
Samantala, nagpasalamat naman si Alden sa kanyang home network, ang GMA; at ang talent management na Sparkle GMA Artist Center sa suportang ibinigay sa kanya para sa bagong business venture na ito ng Myriad Entertainment.
Ani Alden, “I am grateful to Sparkle and GMA because they have been very supportive of this partnership. They also let me foster in this side of the business.”
Ayon sa 33-year-old actor, isang panibagong hamon ito para sa kanyang career.
“Ayun nga po, I've been here for more than a decade. This year, I will be celebrating my 15 year in the business and iba rin yung challenges and iba rin yung kulay sa likod ng camera.
“You know, being able to be part of the production. With my first project with Viva, I became an actor, director, and producer at the same time. Nabigyan din ako ng panibagong hamon. So far, I am enjoying the whole journey of this and I can't wait to do more,” pagtatapos ni Alden.
