Angela Alarcon has the potential to become an action star

Angela Alarcon showed her versatility in acting when she became part of the hit GMA Afternoon Prime series Magandang Dilag. Prior to this, viewers saw her strong personality when she joined the cast of Voltes V: Legacy.
In a previous interview, Angela said that she wants to lead in an action series. It's not because, aside from being the daughter of action star Jestoni Alarcon, the 27-year-old actress is also a black belter in Taekwondo. In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, she mentioned that she also does boxing and Muay Thai during her free time.
“Eventually talaga, I would really hope na magamit ko 'yung skills na 'yun na napag-practice-an ko all these years to put it out into film and probably, sana, hopefully mabigyan ako ng GMA to be cast in an action packed role,” she said.
