Sparkle stars Ashley Sarmiento and Marco Masa, dubbed by their massive fanbase as 'AshCo,' the real-life best friends turned on-screen dynamic duo, were showered with immense love during a special fan meet organized entirely by their most devoted supporters.
In a post from Sparkle GMA Artist Center on Instagram, the Kapuso talent management shared photos from the gathering, which featured a striking red and black motif.
Fans and the two Kapuso stars alike enthusiastically adhered to the dress code, blanketing the venue in the theme.
During the event, Ashley and Marco bonded with their fans while exploring the various booths and food stalls set up at the venue.
In an exclusive interview with Balitanghali, the two young stars opened up about their bond, sharing that despite their busy schedules preventing them from seeing each other often, their friendship remains solid.
“'Yung Friendship po talaga namin and with our long-term friendships, very low maintenance lang talaga. Alam niyo po 'yung every time na magkikita kami, same bond and everything,” said Ashley.
“Actually, kahit na parang may mga times na 'di kami nakakapag-usap, once na magkita kami, ang dami naming puwedeng ipag-catch up; and siguro from time to time nagkukumustahan,” Marco shared.
Ashley was recently featured in a short film titled Pulang Sinulid by Manila-based director Joshua Salva.
On the other hand, Marco currently stars as Zion in You're My Favorite Song, airing Mondays to Fridays at 4:00 p.m. right after Kamao on GMA Afternoon Prime and Kapuso Stream!
