Ashley Sarmiento's unforgettable PBB Journey as a housemate

Versatile Kapuso actress Ashley Sarmiento shared her reflection as her Pinoy Big Brother journey came to an end last February 28.
The 19-year-old stunner finished strong in the hit reality show and was proclaimed as the Kapuso Third Big Placer with Caprice Cayetano hailed as Kapuso Big Winner during the Big Night.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Ashley described her stay inside Bahay ni Kuya as a 'colorful journey.'
“PBB was more than just a chapter in my life, it was a journey that added so much color to my world.” Ashley continued, “Inside the house, I learned how to stand firm in what I believe in, even when it's hard. I learned how to listen, how to understand people who are different from me, and how to keep going even in moments when I felt challenged or unsure. It wasn't just an opportunity for my career, it was an opportunity to become a better version of myself, to appreciate myself more, and to meet a new family.”

Talking about her relationship in the PBB house, Ashley thanked her friends Lella Ford (Kapamilya Big Winner) and Princess Aliyah (Kapuso Fourth Big placer) for always being there for her.
“To my PAL @lellaford__ @princessaliyah_20 , my constants, thank you for seeing me, accepting me, and always keeping my fire burning.
“To my friends, ashiekins, and supporters, while I was inside, you were fighting for me, believing in me, and carrying me through every nomination and every challenge. I truly wouldn't have made it to the very end without you. I can't wait to finally meet you all and thank you in person.”
Ashley also mentioned her family, who became a source of "strength" and "inspiration" that pushed her until the end.
“To my family, sisters, and especially MOMMAA you are my reason and my strength. You inspire me to always give my best and to keep pushing forward no matter what. Everything I do is rooted in the love you've given me.
“And to my loveydovey housemates, thank you for being the reason I smiled, laughed, and felt happy every single day. Rave, Marco, Fred, Sof, Tally, Heath, Ton, Ford, Lee, Cappy, Migs, Waks, Lite, Igo, Way, Eli, Reich.”
“This journey was more than I ever prayed for, and I'm forever grateful to God, the people He placed in my life, and the person I'm becoming. Forever grateful!!” The Sparkle actress posted.
