McNeal Neri Briguela, also known as Awra Briguela, is a comedienne and actress who rose to fame as a child star in the show FPJ's Ang Probinsyano when she was personally chosen by the program's lead actor, Coco Martin. The matinee idol discovered Awra.
In 2017, she was also the grand champion in the first season of Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids
Awra was openly gay since childhood and eventually transitioned into dressing more feminine as she grew into her teens. The child star also grew a huge following on social media for her fashion and impersonation videos.
As she became a teen, Awra became more solid and confident in representing herself as an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.
