Ben&Ben and SB19 give updates on hacked YT channels

Two of the biggest and most popular OPM groups today had to deal with online hackers recently who targeted their official YouTube pages.
P-pop kings SB19 and folk-pop band Ben&Ben released separate statements yesterday, July 15 about what happened to their channels on the popular video streaming platform.
In a statement on Facebook, Ben&Ben informed their fans about the status of their channel, which was showing crypto content.
The same day, They released an update saying, “Our team has restored and recovered a significant part of our YouTube channel from the hijackers.
“However, we are still waiting on the response of our partners in addressing this matter, specifically for the Ben&Ben Youtube channel's Home page.”
They added, “As of this moment, the home page is still live streaming content by the hijacking party. Nonetheless, we are doing our best to resolve this immediately. Thank you for your patience and support, Liwanag.”
Ben&Ben is the band behind some of the popular hit songs like, “Maybe The Night', 'Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay', and 'Make It With You.'
Super P-pop group SB19 composed of Pablo, Stell, Ken, Josh, and Justin, through their agency 1Z Entertainment, posted online a statement last Monday about the hacking of their official YouTube page.
Part of the statement reads, “We regret to inform you that SB19's official YouTube account was recently compromised. We took immediate action to address the incident, and rest assured that it is now under control.”
“Our team has reported the incident to the relevant authorities involved to prevent similar occurrences in the future.”
Meanwhile,"Kapangyarihan", a collaboration between Ben&Ben and SB19 is now the official soundtrack of the much-awaited GMA Prime series 'Pulang Araw' starring Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, David Licauco, and Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards with Dennis Trillo in a very special role.
The new drama series is set to premiere on GMA Prime on July 29 under the helm of Dominic Zapata.
