Filipino celebrities have been making a name for themselves both in local and international acting awards. Recently, several of them won awards from international award-giving bodies, bringing honor and pride to the country.
One of the most talked-about awards was received by Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo when he won the Best Actor in a Leading Role award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards. He bested some of the most notable international actors, including Korean superstars.
Aside from Dennis, Kapuso Royalty Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera were some of the celebrities who received international acting awards. The Kapuso Primetime Queen bagged the Best Actress award at the International Golden Summit Excellence Award, while the Primetime King was named one of the National Winners in the 2025 Asian Academy Creative Awards.
