Dr. Manny Calayan addresses allegations of botched surgeries, rivalries, and more in new interview

Renowned cosmetic surgeon Dr. Manny Calayan sat down for an interview with GMA journalist Susan Enriquez.
The celebrity doctor was candid and relaxed as he addressed the supposed "rivalry" between him and Dr. Vicki Belo, another renowned beauty expert in the Philippines.
Doc Manny explained that there is "healthy competition" between them, adding that Dr. Vicki is is his idol, as she was already practicing in the beauty industry when he was still in medical school.
He also addressed Dr. Vicki's controversial comments on the now-defunct Kapuso talk show Showbiz Central.
"If you want to look like Boy Abunda, go to Dr. Calayan. But if you want to look like Dingdong Dantes and Piolo Pascual, come to Belo," she said.
"Naku, hindi ako! Si Boy ang nagalit! 'Doc, loko-loko 'yang si Vicki. In-ano tayo sa Showbiz Central ba 'yun?' Ano'ng sabi? Ganyan daw? Talaga? Samantalang sa'kin galing si Dingdong Dantes before. Noong nahulma ko na, kinuha na niya," Doc Manny said with a laugh.
He added that he did not take it to heart and shared that it was actually Dr. Vicki's longtime partner, Dr. Hayden Kho who apologized to him on her behalf.
