From Tiktok star to Miss Universe Philippines aspirant, Meet Ayn Bernos

From being a Tiktok content creator and entrepreneur, Rousanne Marie “Ayn” Bernos is now one of the stunning candidates in the Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
The 26-year-old is the representative for San Juan City and has made her way through the Top 15 of the headshot, video introduction, runway, and casting video challenges of the prestigious beauty pageant.
On August 22, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization unveiled the Top 50 delegates, including Ayn in the remaining ladies list.
In one of her Instagram posts, the 5'3” beauty queen shared that she waited many years to be a part of the Miss Universe Philippines, which was a promise to her younger self.
“When I was a kid, I would always stay up late to watch major pageants. I looked up to these beauty queens. I have so much respect for them. I admire them so much and I've always wanted to be like them,” Ayn shared in her video.
In May, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced that there's no height requirement for this year. Once she heard the great news, Ayn applied and sent her application that day.
“When Miss Universe Philippines announced that they would be opening the application to everybody, no height requirements, magic words for me.
“I applied on the spot, I dropped everything, [and] sent in my application that day,” she happily added.
Indeed, she is a true dreamer and fighter!
Ayn is now getting closer to fulfill her childhood dream as the Miss Universe Philippines Organization revealed the final Top 30 candidates, including the San Juan City representative on September 1.
Apart from this milestone, the proud morena beauty is also known for her inspiring TikTok content. Currently, she has over one million followers on the popular social media platform.
