Geoff Eigenmann open to working with Carla Abellana again

Former Contessa star Geoff Eigenmann expressed openness to working again with Widows' War star Carla Abellana, who he was in a relationship with for four years back in the 2010s.
During a guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, King of Talk Boy Abunda asked the actor about the possibility of working once more with Carla. The two split up in 2014 after being in a relationship for four years.
“Yes, I would be open to working with Carla (Abellana) again. I think now in our lives, a lot has happened to each of us separately,” Geoff replied. “Maturity and growth come in and it's all in the past. We're professionals and we did this together for a long time before. Why can't we do it now?”
Since their separation, Geoff has gone on to marry and have three children with his current partner, Maya Flores. Meanwhile, Carla went on to marry Tom Rodriguez in 2021, with their marriage dissolved in 2022.
Geoff also shared that he and Carla had actually ran into each other six or seven years before and were cordial with one another.
“We actually haven't seen each other. We saw each other once and that was it. Nagpansinan naman kami. This was six or seven years ago. Then we just continued on,” he shared.
Geoff also clarified whether he and Heart Evangelista were ever an item. The two were paired together back in 2004 on a show on ABS-CBN.
“Everyone thought we (Heart Evangelista) were together but honestly, we were just really, really good friends. For me kasi, it was the start of my career when we were paired together and I was really focused on that. I focused too much on it and I was not considering it at the time,” he explained.
