Singer, actor, and model Carl Guevarra is the celebrity guest for "EXpecially For You," one of the most popular segments of noontime show It's Showtime.
Carl is the lead vocalist and keyboard player of Filipino pop rock band, The Juans.
Carl riveted viewers with the story of how he was ghosted twice by a female celebrity.
According to the singer, he and the female celebrity were in their "talking stage" when he suddenly found out that she was already in a relationship.
Even more shocking was the fact that Carl was friends with her boyfriend who is also a celebrity.
Carl's friend and the unnamed female celebrity were actually keeping their relationship a secret but eventually broke up. The female celebrity then got into contact with Carl again, a move that he welcomed at that time but now looks back with regret.
"I am not shy to admit na naging marupok ako. Kahit na may red flags na sa umpisa, noong kinausap niya 'ko ulit, nag-re-engage ako," he admits.
Their would-be relationship took a sour turn for the second time when Carl came across some news about her online.
"Nagulat ako na one time, may nakita kaming article ina-announce na she is with another person and they are offical. It's out here. They are celebrated. They're a love team," he recalled.
Carl is now taking another chance on love as he joins EXpecially For You as a searcher, hoping to find a date that matches his personality.
