Get to know Dan Laurel, Frankie Pangilinan's boyfriend

PhotosFrankie Pangilinan, the eldest daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, has confirmed her relationship with Daniel Santamaria Laurel, the great-grandson of former Philippine President Jose P. Laurel.
Kakie made the revelation during an interview with Ogie Diaz on his YouTube channel.
When asked if she is currently in a relationship, Kakie explained that the dating rumors began after she posted a photo of herself with Daniel, or simply Dan, at the beach.
“Meron po, actually, allegedly daw, kasi po nag-post ako ng picture namin. Nag-beach kami recently. 'Tapos sa articles, pati si Mama actually, natawa sila Mommy and Daddy. Parang, 'Ano ba 'yan? Naka-beachwear na kayo 'tapos gano'n kayo ka-close, tapos 'yung mga articles na lumabas, parang 'rumored boyfriend,' gano'n. Allegedly, parang gano'n,” she said.
Kakie pointed out that she had never actually been asked to confirm the relationship, noting that previous articles only stated that she had not confirmed the reports.
For Kakie, however, there was no need for a formal announcement. Her posts with Dan already showed the close bond they share.
In fact, she playfully acknowledged their relationship on Dan's birthday on May 5, jokingly referring to him as her “rumored boyfriend.”
“So noong birthday po niya, sabi ko, 'Happy birthday to the rumored boyfriend of Frankie Pangilinan,'” Kakie recalled.
