Social media marketing firm Hopper HQ has just revealed its Instagram Rich List for 2021 and a new guy has knocked off Dwayne “The Rock' Johnson from the top spot.
The new king who dethroned “The Rock” is none other than the most-followed celebrity on IG, soccer superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Last year, Cristiano ranked third in Hopper HQ's Instagram Rich list, with each of his posts costing around $889,000.
Makeup mogul Kylie Jenner took the second spot with each of her posts estimated to be worth $986,000, while the “The Rock” topped the list with each of his IG posts costing a whopping $1,015,000.
This year, Cristiano climbed two spots to number one with each of his posts now amounting to $1.6 million.
The Portuguese hothlete now has 308 million followers on Instagram, which means he has gained over 100 million additional followers this year.
Aside from topping the Instagram Rich List this year, Cristiano has had quite an impressive list of achievements on social media.
He has been the most-followed celebrity on IG since 2018, after dethroning singer-actress Selena Gomez.
Plus, Cristiano is also the first person to reach 200 million followers on the photo sharing platform.
And it's the first time that the Juventus forward topped the Instagram Rich List since it began in 2017.
