Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo is on cloud nine during his visit to Italy to attend the prestigious 2021 Venice International Film Festival.
Now in its 78th edition, the film festival was held from September 1 to 11 in Venice, Italy.
Dennis attended the film festival as part of the small contingent representing the movie, On The Job: The Missing 8, directed by Erik Matti.
In the film, Dennis portrays Roman, a prisoner who is regularly freed to conduct assassinations.
To look the part, Dennis wore prosthetics to give his facial features a large, broken nose and crooked teeth.
In the end, veteran actor and Dennis' co-star in the film, John Arcilla, won the Best Actor award, a historic feat that got local show business celebrating with great pride.
“Kuya, sobrang saya ko para sa inyo. Ito ay patunay na kaya din ng mga Pinoy!!! Mabuhay ka sir @johnarcilla.” Dennis told John in an Instagram comment.
Although Dennis failed to win the award, the entire experience was all worth it for the Kapuso actor, who marveled at the sight of international actors, some of whom he personally idolizes.
