On February 18, 2021, actress-turned-vlogger Empress Schuck got a big surprise as her bridesmaid prepared a bridal shower on the eve of her 28th birthday.
Empress is currently prepaparing for her upcoming wedding to Vino Guingona, with whom she has a five-year-old daughter named Athalia.
Vino, a grandson of former Vice President Teofisto Guingona Jr., popped the question on the birthday celebration of their daughter Athalia.
Announcing their engagement, he wrote on Instagram, "My Love, My Everything. Thank you for inspiring me everyday to be the best Dad, the best partner, and the best person that I can be."
"Thank you for loving me for who I am and accepting me as your partner for the rest of your life.
"I love you and always will."
Meanwhile, Empress revealed that Vino didn't know when was the right time to propose, and he completely forgot to put the ring on when she said 'Yes.'
She wrote on Instagram, "You said you had it 2 months ago and didn't really know when to do it. On this day, you woke up and felt this is the right time."
"When I said yes, you hugged me right away and forgot to put the ring on, which I think is sweet cos the ring didn't matter.
"What mattered the most was my answer."
