Celebrity couple Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey are the epitomai of #relationshipgoals and #travelgoals as they have been ticking off their travel bucket list by jetting off to the beautiful paradise of Morocco.
On Instagram, the couple shared with their fans that Morocco is their temporary home amid the pandemic.
Pia revealed in an Instagram Story Q&A, “Morocco will be my temporary base until I go back to the Philippines kasi hindi puwedeng mag-UK.”
Earlier this year, Pia and Jeremy had a romantic getaway on the island of Maldives to greet the new year. Due to the intense lockdown in the United Kingdom, they resorted to going to the North African country.
For his part, Jeremy also mentioned that Morocco, particularly Marrakech, has had a “special place” in his heart.
He recalled, “I first came to Morocco in my early twenties when a friend moved to the beautiful little surfing town of Taghazout to set up a surf school and explore the Moroccan way of life.
“I started a love for the country and its people that has grown stronger over the years as I've learned more about its culture and built more friends in the Moroccan tourism industry.
“Marrakech has always been a special place for me, and at the end of 2020, an opportunity arose to make Morocco my base for a little while instead of returning home to New York.
“So for the next little while, Marrakech is home.”
