As a new hobby and stress reliever during the quarantine period, actress Sunshine Cruz got back into crocheting.
She relies on YouTube tutorials for the techniques and patterns, while she buys the yarn online.
"My new hobby and stress reliever. I've made tops for my princesses. Trying to be productive even at home. Good afternoon everyone! Stay safe guys!" she wrote on Instagram as she posted a photo of her in the middle of a project.
Sunshine started with small wearable items like bonnets but her daughters requested something a little more elaborate.
"Gusto ko lang na magkaroon talaga ng isang bagay na bago na ginagawa ko, so binalikan ko 'yung crochet, nag-start sa bonnet. 'Yung mga anak ko nag-request sa akin na 'Mom, that's uso now...can you make us crop tops?'" she shared in an interview.
Sunshine has since made a lot of crochet tops for herself and also for her three daughters, Angelina, Sam, and Chesca.
She also shares and models her finished creations on her Instagram account.
Sunshine also clarified that her crochet tops currently are not for sale and will remain a hobby for now.
