James Reid has a message for Liza Soberano

Actor and singer James Reid has spoken up about his working relationship with actress Liza Soberano.
James, who is the CEO and founder of Careless Music, has confirmed back in July 29, that Liza Soberano is no longer part of Careless Music.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz posted on YouTube, James said, "She's no longer with Careless. It's her decision to leave, actually." He continued, "Siya ang umalis. Mas focus siya sa career niya sa L.A. (Los Angeles), and kami mas focus kami sa Philippines."
James added, "With my music career, I'm going back to acting. We had different career paths and she has her own co-management sa L.A., Transparent Arts."
"Actually, she's really been managing herself I can say...making a lot of her own decisions."
He clarified that he and Liza are on good terms and he is open to working with her again."Ganun talaga si Liza, very creative, very ambitious, very business-minded. It's been great working with her. She's a very sweet girl."
"We wish her all the best with her career in L.A., with all her international projects. I just want her to know na may babalikan siya dito sa Pilipinas. The Careless team is always here for her no matter what. It's been a great ride working with her for the past five years, through the pandemic. She's come a very long way, and we're very proud of her."
James also narrated how he decided to release a statement that Liza is no longer under Careless. "That came from us, that came from Careless. It just made sense because there were so many rumors coming out. 'Has Liza left Careless?' 'May problema ba?'"
"I made the call to release it so it's clear na we're no longer managing her."
"Yes. When we told her we're going to release the statement, actually she hadn't gotten back to us. It's been difficult to contact her, nasa U.S. siya, she's been very busy, but we had talked about it before."
He also reiterated that he has no ill feelings against Liza, "I'm not an angry person, it takes a lot to get me upset. No, we wish her all the best, and it's very difficult, what she's doing, pushing her U.S. career. We give her 100 percent support, even with all the projects she still has here, we still support her."
James also advised Liza to be careful in dealing with ex-Careless CEO Jeffrey Oh.
"I had warned her about Jeff. I had warned her about all of these things. I told her about the situation and she said she'll be careful, that she'll take care of herself. I told her, 'You're smart, you do diligence, everything.' I've talked to everyone I've worked with and now that this statement about Jeff is out, I think it's very clear to be wary of this character."
James went on to explain his conflict with Jeffrey. "He tricked me. I've been working with him for a very long time. It turns out he wasn't the person he said he was."
The actor explained how Jeffrey owes him money, and left while also cutting communication with him and the Careless team. "More than a hundred million, to me personally. And there's more for other companies."
