Ayon kay James Reid, hindi totoo ang paratang nga mga tao kay Issa Pressman dahil, "I dated someone after Nadine anyway. Don't ask me who."
Binigyan diin ng actor-musician na si James Reid na walang kinalaman ang girlfriend niya na si Issa Pressman sa pagtatapos ng relasyon nila ng ex na si Nadine Lustre.
Ginawa ni James ang pahayag na ito sa exclusive interview niya sa manager at vlogger na si Ogie Diaz sa LATEST vlog niya.
Matatandaan na kinumpirma ng JaDine ang kanilang hiwalayan noong January 2020.
Sabi ni James kay Ogie tungkol kay Nadine, “Yes, I have no problem.”
Dito, dinepensahan niya si Issa sa isyung mang-aagaw, na pilit pinupukol sa kanya ng fans.
Sabi ng singer-actor, "It's just the fans have a way of creating rumors and all of this stuff. Saying that like, inagaw or whatever, which makes no sense because I dated someone after Nadine anyway. Don't ask me who.
“It just doesn't even make sense. But, you know, people will always make up their own stories. And I just try my best to live a life that I'm proud of so that I can sleep at night and just focus on my life and hopefully, people will just move on because they can see na happy naman kami, happy naman sila.”
Matapos mag-focus sa kaniyang music career, ibinalita ni James kay Ogie na plano na niyang bumalik sa pag-arte sa early part ng 2025.
Pero, nilinaw niya agad na walang plano na makipag-collaborate siya kay Nadine Lustre.
Lahad ni James, “No, I don't think that's happening. There is still that undying support that, you know, I'm always grateful for.
“Even as I transition to music, nandun pa rin sila to promote ng music and support me. But you know, out of respect for my girlfriend Issa, I don't think I'd ever do another love team.”
Dagdag niya, “I think a lot of the audience can't tell reality from showbiz, when it comes to love team. So, out of respect to her, I don't think I'd ever do that again, but acting definitely.”
Umamin din si James Reid na nakaramdam siya ng 'depression' sa masasakit na salita na binibitawan sa kaniya at kay Issa Pressman in public.
“It's been a very difficult year for me, also for Issa and I'm sure for Nadine also just with all the noise, all of the bashing. Sana people can move on from all of that.”
“To be very honest, for me witnessing all the bashing nakaka-depress siya to be honest. And I hope people can move on and just please give us peace of mind.”
