Pumanaw na ang dating aktres at TV host na si Jaymee Joaquin sa edad na 44 matapos ang ilang taong pakikipaglaban sa breast cancer.

Inanunsyo ito ng kanyang malapit na kaibigan na si Fides VA sa isang Facebook post noong October 18.

"Our dearest Jaymee Topacio aka Jaymee Joaquin, Jaymee Wins officially became an angel today. You've lived the most beautiful life, Jaymee. You will be greatly missed on this planet," malungkot na balita ni Fides.

Bukod kay Fides, opisyal din itong inanunsyo ng kanyang pinsan na si Erika Geronimo.

"It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the passing of my cousin, Jaymee Topacio aka Jaymee Wins or Jaymee Joaquin," sulat ni Erika.

"She lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, laughter, and love. She inspired and touched a lot of lives through her advocacy and talent. She will be greatly missed and will always be in our loving memory as a strong woman.

"A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered."

October 2016 nang ma-diagnose na may Stage 2A breast cancer si Jaymee.

Noong July 2017, masaya nitong ibinalita na cancer-free na siya. Pero noong March 2019, ibinahagi ni Jaymee na muling bumalik ang kanyang cancer.
