Jillian Ward turns emotional as she recalls parents' separation in 2024

Who would have thought that Sparkle actress and My Ilonggo Girl star Jillian Ward went through a difficult and emotional journey in 2024 after she revealed in her 24 Oras interview that her parents have decided to separate.
The Star of the New Gen opened up about this in her exclusive chat with Nelson Canlas describing what happened to her parents as “emotionally exhausting.”
“Isa po sa mashi-share ko na recent, like last year, nag-separate 'yung parents ko.” Jillian admitted.
“First-time ko po ishi-share naging sobrang hirap siya for me honestly. Yun po 'yung mga time na nagpapa-interview po ako, tapos sinasabi ko I feel burnt out. Pero honestly, hindi po ako burnt out lang. Talagang emotionally exhausted ako, kasi may times na naririnig ko 'yung parents ko na nag-uusap sila ng madaling araw, bago ako mag-taping. Tapos, I have to act like na hindi ko naririnig 'yung mga conversations nila.”
“Tapos, kaya po pag pupunta po ako ng taping- kaya ko umiyak ng 14 hours a day, kasi, totoo po 'yung emotions ko.”

Nelson then asked the Sparkle actress, “So doon mo nilalabas?
“Doon ko po nilalabas, kasi sa house po hindi ko nilalabas 'yung iyak ko, 'yung galit ko. Ayun parang hindi ako sobrang expressive sa personal life ko. So, nilalabas ko po siya sa eksena.” the Sparkle actress replied.
Jillian also expressed her gratitude towards her Mommy Jennifer, who went through a lot to raise her at a young age. In an interview with My Mother, My Story, Jillian stated that her mother gave birth to her at 19 years old.
“Message ko sa Mama ko na, well my Mom is my life so, wait lang”, the My Ilonggo Girl star paused after being overwhelmed with emotions. Jillian then continued, “So lahat po ng ginagawa ko it's for her. Well my Dad din and my siblings, pero more on my Mom. I super love my Mama.
“So, I hope she is proud. Kasi po, when she was growing up hindi niya na-achieve lahat ng gusto niya ma-achieve. So gusto ko lahat ng hindi niya na-achieve for herself, i-a-achieve ko sa sarili ko for her. My Mom had doubts about having me at first, kasi she was very young. I want to prove sa kaniya na hindi siya nagkamali and I want to make her proud. And I'm so proud of her kasi, 'yung Mom ko din hindi siya nagshi-share ng mga pinagdaanan niya, pero grabe 'yung pinagdaanan ng mother ko, so, I'm proud.”
