According to Khalil, he took photography as a hobby and did not expect to excel in it.
"Noong medyo sumikat na talaga 'yung pagte-take ng photos sa social media, talagang sinubukan kong makisabay. Hindi ko alam talaga na magiging isa sa mga skills ko siya bilang artist," he shared with Aubrey Carampel in an interview for 24 Oras.
To further hone his skills, he joined a summit for photography enthusiast in Tokyo, Japan together with his girlfriend and fellow Sparkle star Gabbi Garcia.
Khalil's passion and hard work has paid off and even got the attention of a popular film and camera brand who tapped him to be one of the guest speakers for a recent photography event held in Taguig.
