Darwin Yu was part of the groundbreaking GMA Telebabad series 'Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune.'
He plays Leo Evangelista, the loyal bestfriend of Steffy Dy (Barbie Forteza) who realizes he has feelings for her and is hoping to get out of the so-called friendzone.
Prior to that, Darwin made his film debut in internationally-acclaimed indie film '1st Sem' where he acted alongside veteran award-winning actress Lotlot de Leon.
In the film, he played Maru, a 16-year-old boy from the province set to attend a prestigious university in Manila.
After experiencing lonely night in his college dorm and remembering his mother's heartbreak at leaving him all alone in the city, Maru decides to pack his bags and return to his hometown.
He begs his mother to let him attend a local college but she orders him to go back to the city and continue his studies there. This then puts a strain on their relationship.
Darwin went on to star in other shows like 'Ben x Jim' and 'Gen Z.'
