SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona-Aragon and her eldest child, Andrei Trazona, have become a topic of discussion
as Andrei came out of the closet to reveal her passion for drag queen and her drag alter ego, Sofia.
While Andrei's transformation was met with support from the LGBTQ community and his fans, her mom Izzy's concerned reaction garnered attention online.
In a lengthy Instagram post from September 11, Izzy aired her sentiments on being a mother to Drei and her worries for his well-being. "I miss you Drei, you're always in my prayers...everyday. I love you so much. And that will never be changed."
She continued, "Sometimes, parents & their children have disagreements and it's normal. But I know both sides have that pain in their and wish that they will just simply agree w/ each other. Both have their own reason for what they are fighting for."
She firmly ended her letter, "Andrei anak, I love you so much to not support you on things that will harm you. I am always here for you…your mama, mahal na mahal kita."
Meanwhile, Andrei broke her silence and admitted that while he tried to protect her mom from bashers, he has to be honest about Izzy's lack of support for his identity. "I lied in an interview that she supports what I am and for what I do just to protect her from any backlash but there's no point in protecting her because the truth came out straight from her."
Andrei shared, "I love you so much mom but this isn't healthy for me anymore. I hope someday you will understand how it feels to be in my shoes. I miss you but you're not bringing me any comfort and compassion I deserve."
