Since being crowned the big winner of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition, Mika Salamanca has been unstoppable, with more projects coming her way. This time, she is showing even greater commitment and dedication to making her mark in showbiz.

To further flourish in her acting career, the Sparkle artist decided to remove some of her tattoos through the Aivee Tattoo Removal procedure at the Aivee Clinic.

In a TikTok video with Aivee Clinic's founder, Dr. Aivee Teo, Mika explained why she chose to remove some of her tattoos.

“This is hard for me 'cause I love my tattoos and all of them [have] meanings. Before ko silang ipalagay, talagang pinag-iisipan ko. Pero nag-decide akong ipa-remove some of my tattoos kasi kailangan ko for acting,” she shared.

Mika revealed that she needs to undergo tattoo removal for her future projects since she has been having a hard time during tapings and brand endorsements, where she often needs to cover them up.

She added, “Kahit noong bata pa ako, I really love tattoos, so I don't think titigil ako ever na magpa-tattoo. It's just that siguro pause lang muna sa ngayon. I think in the future kapag nag-decide na lang ako na mag-focus sa music, but for now, removal na muna.”
