Miss World Philippines announces their official candidates

Filipino pageant fans have yet another pageant final to look forward to as the Miss World Philippines organization has announced the list of delegates competing for the Miss World Philippines crown.
The pageant's final screening was held at the Glass Ballroom of Okada Manila over the weekend, with the ones chosen from the screening to join regional winners from across the country and around the world.
This year's delegates will succeed reigning Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol, who ended her Miss World pageant journey outside of the top 40. After the pageant, Gwendolyne shared her gratitude for the support sent her way after her Miss World performance on her Instagram account.
“My eyes are swelling with tears trying to hold it all in so the world can see a brave woman who gave her all,” she wrote. “But like any human being, I think it is normal to admit that it is okay to be vulnerable, it is okay to be hurt, it is okay to be in shock and question myself and my capabilities.”
