Nakipagkuwentuhan si Nic Chien, anak ng icon na si Lea Salonga, kay King of Talk Boy Abunda sa programang Fast Talk with Boy Abunda noong Biyernes, March 20.
Dito, ibinahagi ni Nic ang kanyang coming-out story bilang trans man, maging kung paano niya ipinagtapat sa ina ang tunay na pagkatao.
Nang tanungin ni Tito Boy kung ano ang masasabi niya sa mga taong nagsasabing mapupunta sa "hell" ang miyembro ng LGBT+ community, sagot ni Nic, "Screw you."
Pagpapatuloy niya, "Whoever thinks being queer or gay or trans is a choice -- no, it's not a choice. If I had a choice to only like women, I would choose that choice.
"You know, not to get religious or whatever, but God made us this way. If there was an easier way out, we would have chosen that a long time ago, pero hindi. Kasi, this is what we really are."
