South Korean actress Lee Si-young announces divorce after eight years of marriage

After eight years of marriage, Sweet Home star Lee Si-young is currently undergoing divorce proceedings from her husband, restaurateur Mr. Jo.
On Monday, March 17, Si-young's agency, Ace Factory, confirmed, "They are in the process of getting a divorce through mutual agreement."
"As it is the actress's private life, please understand that it is difficult to answer other questions besides this," the agency noted.
Reports revealed that the former couple filed the required documents for their divorce at the Seoul Family Court earlier this year.
Si-young got married in September 2017 and welcomed her son in January 2018.
The Korean actress debuted in 2008. She gained popularity in the famous drama Boys Over Flowers, Playful Kiss, and the variety show We Got Married.
She recently starred in seasons 2 and 3 of the Netflix series Sweet Home in 2024.
