Xyriel Manabat reacts to viral vulgar post by TNVS driver, vows action

Xyriel Manabat has spoken out after a viral social media post by a TNVS (Transport Network Vehicle Service) driver allegedly carried vulgar and suggestive remarks about their photo together, prompting broader conversations on respect and online behavior.
'The Secrets of Hotel 88' actress shared that the interaction itself was professional, she had simply gone about her day, dressed appropriately, and agreed to take a photo with the driver.
However, the now-circulating post by Facebook user “Boss Toyo Mansi” reportedly included inappropriate captions and comments, with one even allegedly containing the word “J*kol,” raising concerns about harassment and the treatment of women in public spaces and online.
“Hindi ko 'to palalampasin. Imagine, kung gaano kahirap ang buhay ng babae. Nagtrabaho ka lang, may nagpa-picture sa'yo, you're just being you, and then this is what you get in return,” she said.
The incident has since sparked discussions among netizens about boundaries, consent, and responsible social media use, with many expressing support for the actress while calling for greater accountability in how such interactions are shared online.
