Planning for an action-packed beach trip before summer ends?

Then, the province of Camarines Norte is the place to be.

Located at the northernmost part of the Bicol Region, it is a perfect summer destination for adrenaline seekers for it is home to numerous extreme water activities.

Check out some of the must-sees and dos in Camarines Norte, according to the May 3 episode of Biyahe Ni Drew.

Go surfing and kite boarding in Bagasbas Beach

Bagasbas Beach in Daet is every beach lover's dream destination.

Dubbed as the surfing capital of Bicol, it is an ideal spot for surfing and kiteboarding beginners because of its wide span of fine gray sand, without the existence of coral reefs, sea urchins, and jellyfish. As Drew described his experience, "Okay lang mahulog a million times dahil ang sasalo sa'yo ay sand."

The best season for surfing in Bagasbas Beach is from March to June, while for kiteboarding is from October to mid-April.

If you're a first timer in the area, searching where to eat and stay won't be problem since there are many restaurants, hostels and other accommodations along the beach. Plus, it is accessible via a tricycle from Daet town proper for only P40.

Partake in an epic kayak adventure in Baybay Beach

When in CamNorte, kayaking is more extreme than surfing.

Unlike in lakes or lagoons, paddling in the open sea gives a different sensation.

"The main challenge is going outside [the waves] lalo na kapag dalawa kayo. Siguro 'pag you're in a surfboard and you're paddling alone, kahit papaano, you're controlled. 'Pag dalawa na kayo, bumibigat, 'di masyadong ma-steer 'yung kayak. It is more challenging, I guess," Drew recounted his experience.

Baybay Beach in the municipality of Mercedes is just one of the famous spots for kayaking in the province.

Take a zip line in San Lorenzo Ruiz

The longest zip line in the Bicol Region can be found in San Lorenzo Ruiz, the smallest municipality in CamNorte.

Channel your inner superhero while sliding into the 750-meter long zip line while enjoying the lush tropical views of Matacong.

It is a 20-30 minute ride from Daet town proper.

Relax in an eco-resort

It is now time to slow down from the action-packed activities.

Get a hydromassage in Mampurog River and unwind in the tranquil surroundings of Club Noah Eco-resort.

It offers daytime tour that comes with free use of cabanas and pergolas with umbrellas.

On the other hand, for those who want to stay overnight, cottage rooms, cabins, and casitas can be availed.

Seek temporary isolation in Calaguas Island

Calaguas Island is a perfect retreat for those who want to disconnect from the stressful city life.

Because of its remote location, generators and solar panels are the only sources of electricity on the island, so unplugging from technology is a valid excuse.

It is very relaxing to just enjoy the unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean while taking a dip in its unique crystal clear turquoise waters.
