Ahtisa Manalo turns emotional as she counts down her final weeks as Miss Universe Philippines, reflecting on the journey that led her to the crown.
As her reign nears its end, Ahtisa Manalo is taking time to soak in every last moment as Miss Universe Philippines, admitting she's begun to feel sentimental ahead of the upcoming coronation.
In Nelson Canlas' report on 24 Oras Wednesday, April 8, the Sparkle star shared how she's been quietly reflecting on her journey, even at home.
“In-e-enjoy ko muna. May konting oras pa. Naka-display na siya sa cabinet ko. Every time papasok ako, andun 'yung crown. Parang nagsisimula na 'ko maging senti, nag-e-emote na 'ko, 'pag nag-da-drive ako pauwi, ini-imagine ko, 'ang tagal ko pinagtrabahuhan 'to,'” she said.
With the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night set for May 1, Ahtisa is also preparing to pass the crown to her successor, bringing with her not just memories of the title, but lessons she hopes to share with the next queen and this year's candidates.
Meanwhile, Ahtisa Manalo is set to take on the role of Bathalumang Haliya, the humble yet powerful moon goddess, in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.
