'Raising Mamay' lead star Aiai Delas Alas is beyond thankful for the good words that her show received.

Aiai Delas Alas may be miles away from the country, but she still feels the love and support from her fans and followers for her GMA drama series Raising Mamay.

According to the seasoned artist and Comedy Queen, who is currently based in the US, she felt flattered because her show is a hit among her kababayans abroad.

So nakakatuwa naman. Sa Japan tinawag nila 'kong Mamay," she told GMANetwork.com in a virtual chat.

Raising Mamay was known for its heartwarming mother-daughter scenes featuring her and Shayne Sava.

As it bid farewell on television after 14 weeks, Aiai recalled the most heartbreaking scene she did for the well-loved afternoon drama.

Many loved the show's realistic storyline which shows the moments in one's life, both the good and bad, that leads one back to family.

In fact, after skimming through the comments on the social media pages of GMA, many requested for Raising Mamay to have an extension. With this, Aiai is beyond thankful for the good words that her show receives.

The Raising Mamay lead star said, "Sobrang happy ako and thankful ako to God, sa mga Kapuso natin...

Viewers can still watch the full episodes of Raising Mamay via GMANetwork.com or GMA Network app.
