Love is extra sweet this Valentine's season for Aiko Melendez as she celebrates the special day with her partner, Onemig Bondoc.

In an Instagram post, the actress-politician shared photos of their candlelit dinner by the beach with the T.G.I.S. star, along with a sweet and touching message for Onemig, whom she called her “soulmate.”

“To my soulmate, @uno_111. You are not just the love I asked for, you are the love I didn't even know I needed,” she began.

Aiko admitted that with Onemig, “love feels calm, safe, and true,” as he continuously understands her in silence, holds her in her weakest moments, and chooses her every single day.

“Thank you for loving me beyond my flaws, for standing by me when things aren't easy, and for reminding me that real love doesn't rush, it stays,” she thanked Onemig.

She added, “In a world full of noise, you are my peace. In every lifetime, I would still find my way to you. I choose you today, tomorrow, and always.”

“Happy Valentine's, my soulmate. First Valentine's Day!” she concluded.

Dating speculations about Aiko and Onemig first surfaced online through their sweet interactions and candid stories about each other during livestream sessions.

Onemig later put an end to the rumors by sharing a sweet selfie with Aiko, captioned, “Happy together… after 29 yrs.”

Aiko publicly confirmed her separation from Jay Khonghun in October 2025. The Quezon City councilor shared that their decision to part ways was mutual.

Meanwhile, Onemig parted ways with his former wife, Valerie Bariou, in September 2014, although the two had already been living separately since October 2013.
