Aiko Melendez on parting ways with manager Ogie Diaz: "We are still good friends."
Aiko Melendez recently shared that she and entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz have decided to part ways as business partners.
In a Facebook post, the actress-politician assured fans that their friendship remains despite taking separate paths professionally.
"My manager, Ogie Diaz, and I have reached a crossroads in our business life, and we have chosen to take separate roads," she wrote.
"Though one thing remains unchanged, we are still good friends," she clarified.
Reflecting on their years of friendship, Aiko said she “deeply value[s]” the bond they have built through the years.
"Always grateful, Ogie, for the friendship, trust, and memories we've shared and will share," she continued. "Mahal pa din kita, alam mo yan, mader."
Aiko previously shared a health update about her thyroid condition after undergoing a thyroid biopsy. Since then, many of her followers have been sending prayers, well wishes, and messages of support.
