john regala accuses chuckie dreyfus

Aileen Dreyfus's statement came after John Regala accused her husband Chuckie Dreyfus, Nadia Montenegro, and Aster Amoyo of withholding funds from him.

Chuckie Dreyfus's wife, Aileen, breaks her silence after former actor John Regala accused his former supporters of allegedly withholding donations meant for him.

On August 25, John appeared in a local radio-tv program where he said he didn't receive any amount from the crowdfunding campaign organized by Chuckie, Nadia Montenegro, and writer Aster Amoyo.

John said, “Nasaan na po kaya 'yun? 'Yung tulong na sinasabi nila na kinalap nila?”

Chuckie, who also appeared on the program, was accused of lying by the former action star.

Together with his assistant, identified as Bem Santillan Torres, John said that he did not receive a breakdown of funds but only copies of hospital and bank receipts.

To clarify their side of the story, Aileen commented on the statements made by John via Facebook.

She said, “These statements were made during their interview. I will answer them point by point.

“To the swarms of bashers out there, basahin ninyo ito at initindihing mabuti."

Aileen commented on the BDO bank account that was claimed by John as a “zero-zero balance.”

He said that this account included the donations of celebrities like Vic Sotto, Jinggoy Estrada, and Bong Revilla.

Aileen explained, “The remaining cash amounting to PhP 115,151.20 was deposited to your personal Metrobank account kaya zero-zero balanace na ang BDO joint account under Nadia and Aster's name. Gano'n ka-simple.

“We have no access to the donations from Vic Sotto and Bong Revilla because it was all given to you and NOT THROUGH US. The donations of Jinggoy Estrada, concerned citizens, and a few notable personalities that passed through us were all accounted for.

“Kung may mga nag-donate na wala sa list namin, ibig sabihin, wala kaming nakuha, wala kaming kinalaman, and wala kaming access.”

She claimed that all the documents were properly turned over to John's former caretaker, Teddy Imperial.

“Paki isa-isa and make sure na wala kang itatago para pagtakpan lahat ng kasinungalingan mo," she said.

“That [document] was turned over to Teddy Imperial because, at the time, he was your caretaker. If paninindigan mo pa na wala ka pa rin nakuhang kopya, we can always ask for copies from the bank.

“Ano pang patunay ang pinagsasabi mo? Isa-isahin mo at tingnang mong mabuti. May pa-burden of proof ka pa, e, ikaw na ang burden ngayon!”

John became the subject of a viral Facebook post last July after photos showed him looking stick thin in Pasay City.

According to a netizen, Regala asked for his help because he was dizzy and could not find his nurse. John also confirmed that he is suffering from liver cirrhosis.

Following this report, Chuckie, Nadia, and Aster came to his aid by organizing a crowdfunding campaign.

However, they severed ties with him after stating that the actor is a “very uncooperative and a difficult individual.”

John was discharged from the National Kidney and Transplant Institute after being confined for several days.
