AJ Raval honors celebrity dads Aljur Abrenica and her father, Jeric Raval
Filipina actress AJ Raval celebrates Father's Day with a special tribute to two fathers in her life.
In an Instagram post, AJ penned a heartfelt message to her father, Jeric Raval, alongside sweet photos of them together.
"Happy Father's Day to the strongest person we know, a loving father, the heart of our family, and our forever barkada…," AJ wrote in the captions.
"Growing up, one of the greatest gifts you've given us wasn't something money can buy. It was your time,your presence, and your love. no matter how busy life became, you always made us feel that family mattered."
Now, as a mother herself, AJ said she better understands the importance of spending time with children. Inspired by her father, the actress makes sure to share the same love with her family.
"Thank you for being the father that you are. We love you always, Tatay Erick…," she added.
Meanwhile, AJ also honored her children's father, Aljur Abrenica, with a heartwarming Father's Day tribute.
"Happy Father's Day, love… People may not always see the real you, but we do," she wrote.
"Behind your strong personality is a man with the softest heart. A father who loves deeply, protects, and would do anything for his children. What makes me emotional is that your love doesn't stop with us. You've opened your heart to so many people, especially children who simply needed love, guidance, and someone to care for them."
AJ continued to admire Aljur's kind heart, citing his sacrifices and generosity.
"For all the times you carried burdens in silence, for all the love you give so freely, and for always showing up for the people who need you most.You are enough. More than enough. And no matter what anyone else says, the people who truly know your heart are grateful that you're here," the actress said.
The message ended with a heartfelt note, "We see you. We appreciate you. We love you. Happy Father's Day, love. Thank you for being our home…"
AJ and Aljur's love story began in 2022 after they worked together on the 2021 film Nerisa. They made their relationship public on Valentine's Day in 2023.
The actress has three children with Aljur, Aikena, Junior, and Abraham. She also has another daughter from her previous relationship.
Meanwhile, Aljur has two sons with his former partner, Kylie Padilla.
