Alden Richards is looking forward to watching his old shows through one of the features of GMA Now.
Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards is the brand ambassador of GMA Now, GMA Network's plug and play dongle.
"GMA never really gets tired to innovate and adjust every time--to change, to adapt to the current times. Excited na ko na ma-experience nila 'tong GMA Now. It's also gonna be another step to move forward when it comes to creating something new for the Kapuso viewers and to make their lives convenient as TV watchers," he told bloggers in a recent virtual interview.
GMA Now is a mobile digital TV receiver that can be plugged into an Android device and allows you to watch live TV on the go for free.
The thumb drive-sized dongle will give you access to GMA, GTV, Heart of Asia, Hallypop, Dep-Ed TV, and all available free-to-air digital channels in your location.
With GMA Now, you will be able to catch all your favorite Kapuso shows as long as you are within the coverage area.
Aside from watching TV on the go, Alden is particularly excited to try GMA Videos On-Demand, one of GMA Now's interactive features.
With an internet connection, you can stream past shows, episode highlights, and other exclusive videos from GMA via GMA Videos On-Demand.
Alden shared that through the feature, he plans to watch a few of his old shows.
"Actually, umere 'yung isa sa mga pinakapaborito kong TV series na nagawa ko which was 'One True Love' during the pandemic, during the ECQ (enhanced community quarantine)," he said.
One True Love is a 2012 drama series which saw Alden pair up with actress Louise delos Reyes. He played a poor but hardworking young man who falls for the daughter of a wealthy businessman.
"Isa rin talaga sa mga gusto kong mapanood ulit 'yung Victor Magtanggol. It's been a while since I've seen Victor Magtanggol so maganda rin siyang i-recap. Kasi while I was doing it, halos wala akong napanood na episode because I was very busy taping," he recalls.
Victor Magtanggol is an action-fantasy series inspired by Norse mythology. Alden plays the titular Victor who unexpectedly becomes the heir of Thor's hammer Mjolnir.
