Alden Richards kept his New Year’s resolution short and sweet.

“New Year’s resolution is lalong maging mabait na tao. 'Yun lang 'yun,” he said.

He revealed this in a video invitation for the Lipad Kapuso 2017 countdown taken by Bianca Umali.

He also greeted fans, on behalf of leading lady Maine Mendoza, "a happy new year."
 
The Pambansang Bae will be joined by some of the Kapuso network’s biggest stars in welcoming 2017 tonight in the Mall of Asia Seaside Boulevard.
