Alden Richards is set to headline 'Rebuilding Broken Rooms,' a new GMA Public Affairs documentary special that takes an in-depth look at the current state of education in the Philippines.
Alden Richards is bringing his advocacy for education to television as he gears up to host an upcoming GMA Public Affairs documentary special.
Titled Rebuilding Broken Rooms, the education special will take an in-depth look at the current state of education in the Philippines, uncovering the challenges faced by the sector and the stories behind them.
In the documentary, Alden will travel to different parts of the country to meet students struggling with literacy and academic skills, as well as teachers who continue to provide quality education despite overwhelming challenges.
Long known for his advocacy for education, the Asia's Multimedia Star has continued to support underprivileged but determined students through his AR foundation, a scholarship foundation, which has already benefited nearly 50 scholars.
More than presenting the realities faced by the education sector, Rebuilding Broken Rooms aims to raise public awareness and encourage collective action. Through the documentary, Alden calls on society, stakeholders, and policymakers to take meaningful, inclusive, and lasting steps toward educational reform.
Rebuilding Broken Rooms premieres this August on GMA.
Aside from his upcoming documentary special, Alden is also set to star in the upcoming GMA medical drama series Code Grey.
He currently stars in the romantic comedy series Love, Siargao alongside Nadine Lustre, which streams on Viu Philippines.
