South Korean entertainer and My Korean Jagiya leading man Alexander Lee recently uploaded a photo of himself crying along with a lengthy caption written in Korean.
He then posted the English translation of his original post on IG Stories, where he talked about his battle with depression.
"Basically, I just wanna share about how tough and depressing the past months were for me. Like most people, I had a breakdown and even cried," Xander wrote.
By opening up about his mental health, Xander encouraged everyone to be more honest with their emotions and feelings.
"My POINT is: You are NOT alone. If you are having a hard time, too, just let it out.
"Because it's OK to be NOT OK. If you want to cry, just cry. Release it.
"HOWEVER, make sure that you STAND UP AGAIN, MOVE ON, and be STRONGER. OK?
"Nowadays, people only post their most glamorous side of themselves on social media. So today, I'm not ashamed to post a bad side of myself. A crying face.
"Anyway, I just want to be honest here and give comfort to everyone who is having a hard time too," he added.
Lastly, Xander left words of encouragement for those who are going through the same struggles as him.
"Stay strong and let's go through this shitty time together.
"I can't guarantee 2021 will be good. BUT I promise, you will be BETTER in 2021. God bless you. Love y'all."
Xander's My Korean Jagiya leading lady, Heart Evangelista, also commented on his Instagram post saying that she's here if he ever needs someone to talk to.
"Awww love you Jun Ho. It's gonna be ok. I'll talk to you more about that on the phone, soon," wrote Heart.
"Salamat Gia. Yup! Stay safe, meanwhile," replied Xander.
