Alynna Velasquez pleads with netizens to stop the hate toward Hajji Alejandro's family.

Filipina singer Alynna Velasquez took to social media to address rumors and issues circulating online.

On her Facebook account, the mourning OPM star reassured fans about her situation following her earlier revelation about not being able to attend the wake of her late partner, Hajji Alejandro.

Posting a photo during her visit to Hajji's Walk of Fame star, Alynna clarified that everything was okay on her end.

"Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that my video would become viral. To me, it was just a quiet and solemn way to honor the man I love," she wrote. "I didn't point a finger at anyone. I was ok with it. Rather, I blamed myself and just accepted my fate."

Alynna also expressed dismay over "harsh pronouncements blown out of proportion" from some netizens that fueled hatred online.

"Dear friends and followers, please don't attack or blame the family," she pleaded. " There are some members who respect me and those who hate my existence. It's just my destiny and predetermined path. And I am also defective at times. For these, I apologize."

The singer ended her post with a heartfelt reflection, "My biggest regret is I let some people interfere with our lives. So many wasted time. Life is just so short. 'Love the people who love the people you love.'"

Many followers of Alynna and Hajji flooded the comment section with supportive messages, with celebrities like Zara Lopez also expressing their love and concern.

Meanwhile, Alynna promised the public that she would eventually tell the full story behind her absence at Hajji's wake. For now, she asked for understanding as she and everyone close to the OPM icon continue to mourn.

Alynna also praised Hajji's daughter Rachel Alejandro for the lovely relationship she had with her father on stage and in real life.

"Rachel, remember that your dad's mighty proud of you. Always. He will always be there in your heart singing with you. Our ANGELito," Alynna said.

Hajji Alejandro's passing was confirmed on April 22 by his manager, Girlie Rodis, and his family. Earlier this year, Alynna shared in an interview that Hajji had been battling stage four colon cancer and had suffered a seizure due to an infection.
