America's Got Talent finalist Marcelito Pomoy is touching the hearts of others once again, but this time, it doesn't involve his voice or talent.

On YouTube, the singer uploaded a video showing how he built a house for an old lady named Nanay Aurora Merano, whose story he came across through a Facebook post.

Admittedly, he said he was touched with her story because he himself grew up poor.

“I'm full of pity because I also had a poor life back then. So I see my past self in Nanay Aurora's current situation.

“I really can imagine how hard it must be for you because I didn't have a family back then. I grew up in a broken family and I grew up alone.

“But with all my efforts and prayers, God gave me this blessing. So, I'm just trying to give back what God gave me, especially to those who are in need.”

Her house back then, as described by Marcelito, was so small and dilapidated that it looks like a restroom.

The house was built from scratch in a span of a whole week that started with its framing and excavation down to its furnishing.

Nanay Aurora was so moved with his kindness that she started shedding tears the moment she saw the newly built house.

She even jested, “I can't sleep here yet, I look ugly. This is made for a princess!”

According to Marcelito, the project wouldn't have been possible without the help of all the donors who extended their help for Nanay Aurora.

He mentioned, “To all those who supported and extended their help to Nanay Aurora, this will not be possible without your help. Thank you so much.”
