Ana Feleo to Marian Rivera: “Thank you for being my safe place, my kakampi, my constant, rain or shine.”
Ana Feleo recently celebrated Marian Rivera's birthday with a touching tribute.
On Instagram, the Filipina actress penned a heartfelt birthday message for Marian as she turned 42.
“Happy birthday to my Cariño, my BFF, @marianrivera,” she wrote.
Looking back on the beginning of their friendship, Ana recalled how they first worked together in the 2011 series Amaya.
“It's funny how life brings people together. We met through showbiz circumstances, with Amaya being the first show we did together. But our friendship could not be farther from anything 'showbiz,'” she shared.
She continued, “What we have is real. Quiet when it needs to be, fiercely protective when it matters, and deeply rooted in a kind of love that asks for nothing in return.”
Ana shared that they are each other's “protectors, nurturers, and confidants.”
She said they have already seen each other at their strongest and most vulnerable.
“And somehow, we continue to embrace each other-not because we are perfect, but because we understand just how precious and rare this relationship is,” she expressed.
Ana also described Marian as “steadfast, loyal, and unconditional.”
“You love your people fiercely with your whole heart, and when you choose someone to love, you stand by them. That kind of loyalty is a gift I will never take for granted,” she said.
“And I will always, always feel blessed to be among the people you have chosen to love,” Ana added.
Ana also expressed her gratitude to Marian, calling her “my safe place, my kakampi, my constant, rain or shine.”
“Thank you for a friendship that has survived beyond cameras, projects, seasons, and the noise of this industry,” she wrote.
“May this new year of your life give you back all the love, protection, and goodness you so freely give to the people you love,” she continued. “I love you, my Cariño. Always. Happy Birthday.”
Marian replied in the comments, saying, “Awww. Mahal kita,” accompanied by crying and heart emojis.
