Kapuso actress Andrea Torres says she's not trying to find “the one” right now and instead, is trying to focus on her career first.

In an interview on Updated with Nelson Canlas, Andrea said that she's not trying to look for someone when it comes to her love life. After speaking about the law of attraction, the actress admitted that it's not something she's thinking about right now.

"For some reason hindi ko siya hinahanap right now. Siguro kasi parang nagkaroon ako ng pangalawang buhay sa career ko nung bumalik tayo after the pandemic, kasi ngayon parang namiss mo, na parang nagkaroon ka ng fire ulit," she explained.

She realized that her goals got bigger and that there were a lot of things she wants to do right now.

“Parang more of ano lang ako, ahh kapag dumating ano 'yun, kumbaga its time. Pero hindi ko pa siya talaga hinahanap sa system ako ngayon,” she added.

Last August, Andrea opened up about her break up with actor Derek Ramsey in 2020 and said that she wanted to focus on self-love and self-discovery. She expressed her realization that she will finally find “the one” or the right person once she's ready and that she would focus first on discovering herself.

The actress, however, clarified that she's not letting her love life take a backseat.

“Kapag may pinapameet sila sa akin, game naman ako na o sige meet ko why not,” she said, adding that whether it works out or not, she will gain a new friend.

While Andrea said that it's not something that needs to happen to her, she did admit that when she falls in love, she gives everything for it, saying that she doesn't want to have any regrets when she's in a relationship.

“Ayaw mo rin na may 'what if' ka, tapos syempre kapag may naisip kang gawin, gagawin mo agad kasi nae-excite ka 'yung ganun, inspired ka,” she said.
