Isa sa mga malalapit na showbiz friends ni Max ang kapwa aktres na si Andrea Torres, na masayang-masaya sa pagpapakasal ng kaibigan.

Sa isang Instagram post, binalikan ng Alyas Robin Hood star kung paano nagsimula ang friendship nilang dalawa.

Aniya, "Max and I have crossed paths so many times when we were starting out. I remember telling my Mom how weird it was that we only had the chance to bond while waiting in VTRs but how we somehow managed to form a friendship. From small talks, we began sharing stories that were more personal, and then it came to a point that whoever was called first would give tips on how to go about the audition. We never treated each other like competition. I was truly happy when you got the part and I can also feel you sincerely congratulating me when it was my time."

Pagpatuloy pa ni Andrea, "A few years after, we're both in GMA and it just made so much sense why God made those encounters happen. How can you not feel blessed when you have someone from the business that you can call your sister? All the challenges we went through just proved to me that what we have is for keeps. Thank you for being a source of light in my life. You've always put things in the right perspective for me. And the only way I can repay you is to always aim to make you this happy.
