The pandemic and the lockdown may have greatly affected the lives of millions but have also surprisingly resulted in some changes in the food industry.
Since businesses and restaurants were forced to temporarily stop operating to curb the spread of the virus, taking their culinary businesses online served as an alternate route for some entrepreneurs to continue to earn money.
As this is an attractive opportunity for some to start a new venture, many Filipinos, including personalities, have tried to put up their own.
Kapuso star Andrea Torres is among the many celebrities who ventured into the food business amid the pandemic.

She launched her Family Favorites online business in June. The online store offers various kinds of Pinoy favorites (but with a twist).
Since Andrea is new to the industry, she still seeks the help of her family.
During the Kapuso Brigade Zoomustahan earlier this October, Andrea shared that her boyfriend Kapuso hunk Derek Ramsay is helping her in managing the business.
Derek happens to be one of the people she consults with her menu.
Kasi every Sunday, may gathering kami.
“So, dinadala ko du'n tapos hinihingi ko nga 'yung mga reaksyon nila,” she said.
The actress also said that Derek helps her calm her nerves whenever stress gets the best of her.
